Giving back to the community

WinterWillow employs and provides opportunities to individuals who have experienced or are vulnerable to homelessness.

By providing training, skills building, and employment the WinterWillow social enterprise is combating the effects of homelessness on the Cambridge community.

Any surpluses made from the business are used to sustain ongoing training and employment

or to support our founding charity, WinterComfort.

The Good

Funeral Guide

An eco-coffin is the ideal choice for the person who cares about their community and is concerned about leaving

the earth healthy for tomorrow’s generations.  Choosing an eco-coffin is like giving back a final gift.

Environmentally friendly

Willow coffins are woven and therefore do not depend on toxic glues, varnish, plastics, or metals.

Willow is a biodegradable material with a green production process.

Locally manufactured coffins eliminate the need for shipping, reducing overall carbon emissions created by transport.

Use of willow is employed in conjunction with local willow cultivation programme.  Willow cultivation supports biodiversity and acts as a carbon sink.

make an informed choice

Whether cremation or burial services are required, the eco-coffin is the environmentally

preferred choice
